Your Role

As a Junior Business Controller within BU Advanced Programs, you will become a central resource supporting our project managers in EU projects as well as other grant or self-funded assignments. You will also contribute and collaborate with one of our smaller departments on budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing, giving you broad experience in financial management and project control. The role offers great opportunities for development, responsibility, and influencing work processes within both Finance and the projects.

In your role, you will among other things:

• Provide administrative and accounting support to project managers, including invoicing, forecasting analysis, and presentation of financial outcomes.
• Act as a contact person for auditors and ensure that financial reviews are handled correctly.
• Conduct monthly closings and be responsible for budgeting and forecasting work.
• Handle other financial ad-hoc tasks within BU and the projects.
• Support and drive improvement initiatives within Finance at Aeronautics, including the development of processes and routines.

The role involves close collaboration with various internal departments and project managers, giving you the opportunity to understand the business from a holistic perspective and contribute valuable insights that influence strategic decisions. You will have the chance to work on complex projects, heavy audits, and the R&D portfolio, making the role both challenging and rewarding.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career but already has a few years of experience and wants to develop in finance, auditing, and financial management. You are structured, analytical, and meticulous, with a strong ability to understand the business behind the numbers. You have the ability and appreciate diving into details, while you are also driven and curious, ready to take responsibility and contribute your own solutions.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• A degree in Business Administration, preferably a master's, with practical experience in auditing, preferably from an auditing firm.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, with interest and engagement in auditing and financial management.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and data skills; experience with Agresso is an advantage, and knowledge of Mercur and Antura is a plus.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Interest in R&D and project portfolio management as well as the ability to understand complex projects.
• A structured and meticulous working style, with the ability to drive improvement initiatives and take responsibility for both everyday and strategic tasks.
